AI/ML Engineering Manager

Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Role Location: Remote (with 2-3 international visits within Europe per year)

What you will be doing:

• Lead the development of AI/ML solutions for marketing technology and digital automation.
• Design, build, and optimize machine learning models focused on customer segmentation, personalization, predictive analytics, and ad targeting.
• Apply AI to solve data quality challenges and drive campaign automation, budget allocation, and A/B testing strategies.
• Analyze large-scale marketing data to extract actionable insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into marketing workflows and core product offerings.
• Oversee full ML pipelines, including model development (classical and deep learning), explainability (e.g., SHAP, LIME), deployment (via APIs), and monitoring.
• Lead trade-off analysis and ensure strategic alignment of technical direction with business goals.
• Structure AI initiatives into clear, actionable project milestones and guide their execution.
• Promote engineering best practices, scalability, and performance across AI/ML workflows.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience in technical leadership of AI/ML engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Bard), including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• Proficient in Python and popular ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience deploying models via MLOps pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS SageMaker, etc.).
• Familiarity with model versioning, retraining strategies, and CI/CD practices for ML.
• Strong decision-making and planning skills with the ability to break down complex initiatives into actionable phases.
• Ability to mentor and elevate team capabilities while optimizing processes and performance.
