Job summary

Ten is expanding its AI engineering team in London, building scalable AI systems for millions of members. You will work in a cross-functional team with product, data and platform squads to deliver high-quality software at speed, adopting a hands-on DevOps approach.

The role requires curiosity for AI, solid software engineering fundamentals, and a passion for building industry-leading AI products. Hybrid working with 2/3 in-office is supported in London.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C#, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java or Go).
• Experience with generative AI tools and LLM workflows (prompt engineering, latency, cost optimisation).
• Hands-on in building scalable, distributed AI systems with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and monitor AI systems that scale across the business and millions of members.
• Collaborate with product, data and platform teams to deliver high-quality software at a fast cadence.
• Ensure software quality via automated testing, metrics and cost-aware decision making.
