Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions. You will work across .NET, Kafka, Generative AI and cloud technologies to build intelligent, scalable, real-time applications.

The role requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, strong leadership, and expertise in microservices, LLMs, and cloud platforms. Hybrid work model with 2–3 days in the office offered in London or Coventry.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8 and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience building microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Experience integrating NLP/ML/LLMs into applications.
• Knowledge of RAG solutions and AI orchestration.
• Proficient in cloud, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and production support.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Location: London / Coventry – Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Duration: 6–12 months

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with 10+ years of software engineering experience to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions. You’ll work across .NET, Kafka, Generative AI, distributed systems and cloud technologies, helping build intelligent, scalable and real-time applications.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8 and ASP.NET Core
• Build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
• Integrate LLMs, Generative AI, NLP and machine learning into enterprise applications
• Design RAG solutions, AI orchestration frameworks and vector database integrations
• Develop REST APIs, backend services and reusable components
• Build secure, resilient cloud-native solutions across Azure or AWS
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and production support practices
• Apply clean architecture, DDD, design patterns and engineering best practices
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar platforms is desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineers
