Citi is seeking an AI Engineer to join a skilled software team building a new AI system powering Citi's Global Lending Platforms. You will work on MCP tools and AI agent frameworks within a SCRUM environment, delivering production-grade features and collaborating with senior engineers.

The role supports flexible hybrid work, mentorship, and ongoing learning in a leading financial institution with global scope.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying LLMs to real problems in production.
• Strong Python AI/ML stack experience (Pydantic, REST APIs, DB access).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components for AI systems with MCP tools and AI agent frameworks.
• Operate as part of a SCRUM team, ship features reliably.
• Balance speed with engineering excellence and drive tasks to completion.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
