Job summary

McCabe & Barton in London is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join a leading global investment house on a hybrid, contract basis. You will help deliver end-to-end agentic AI and LLM-based solutions that tackle real business challenges across trading, operations, research, and front-office functions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to design, prototype, and deploy AI systems, ensuring governance and scalability while moving quickly from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building end-to-end agentic AI or LLM-based solutions in production.
• Strong Python development skills and production-quality coding.
• Knowledge of C# / .NET for enterprise integration in financial services.
• Experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end agentic AI and LLM-based solutions from concept to deployment.
• Translate business requirements into AI solution designs for trading and operations.
