Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend our Recommendation back-end.
• Design, develop, run, and evaluate online AB-tests to improve the quality of recommenders.
• Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, intervening to resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with developments in Recommendations and Machine Learning.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field, or relevant experience.
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, Python (FastAPI), SQL, Docker, Spark.
• 4+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Data analysis skills.
• Knowledge or experience with machine learning modeling.
• Interest in NLP.
• Interest in digital media products.
