Job summary

TechShack is hiring a GenAI/LLM Engineer for a 6‑month, fully remote contract. The role focuses on building production GenAI systems, including LLM pipelines, RAG workflows, and document processing using AWS Bedrock and Agentcore.

The position requires moving beyond proofs of concept to deliver real‑world solutions, including multi‑agent architectures, vector search with OpenSearch, and integration with LangChain or similar frameworks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering GenAI/LLM in production, not just POCs.
• Experience with RAG for document-heavy apps.
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and Agentcore.
• Knowledge of OpenSearch vector search and hybrid retrieval.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph or similar.
• Document processing tech like Textract, PyPDF or Unstructured.io.
• Ability to design multi-agent/tool-use architectures.
• GenAI evaluation, hallucination detection and confidence scoring.

AI Engineer – 6 month contract – Fully Remote - £500-£550 per day – Outside IR35

GenAI / LLM Engineer

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on LLM pipelines, RAG, document processing and agentic AI, using AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock and Agentcore.

Candidates must have experience taking GenAI solutions beyond proof‑of‑concept and into real production environments.

Essential Experience -

• Strong hands‑on experience delivering production GenAI/LLM solutions, rather than purely prototypes or POCs.
• RAG architecture for complex, document‑heavy applications.
• Amazon Bedrock
• AWS Agentcore
• Amazon OpenSearch, including vector search, k‑NN and hybrid retrieval.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
• Document processing technologies such as Amazon Textract, PyPDF or Unstructured.io.
• Designing multi‑agent or tool‑use architectures.
• GenAI evaluation, hallucination detection, validation and confidence‑scoring techniques.
• Experience delivering technology within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
