Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II to contribute to the Enterprise Data Office Content Delivery team in a hybrid role. You will lead full stack engineering delivery, collaborating with business and product leaders to transform workflows into clear outcomes and technical specs.

You’ll design and deploy modern full stack applications, APIs, and data workflows, while driving AI-enabled practices for better productivity and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a full stack engineer with modern web technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering practices and data-driven approaches.
• Ability to design, build and operate modern full stack applications and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead full stack engineering delivery across projects.
• Translate business needs into technical specs and acceptance criteria.
• Design, build and operate modern full stack apps, APIs and data workflows.
• Develop accessible front-end and UI experiences for EDO products.
• Establish strong engineering practices, quality and collaboration.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve discovery, productivity and data quality.
• Implement end-to-end AI solutions including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, cataloguing and access controls across systems.
• Deliver production-ready solutions from discovery through deployment and operations.
• Define acceptance criteria early and build automated evaluation harnesses.
