Job summary

Clarence George is working on a newly created position for a global Reinsurer based in London. This is a unique role for someone who enjoys acting as a change agent within a team.

You will identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance actuarial analysis, documentation, validation and reporting. You will seek out opportunities to improve actuarial modelling through automation and process improvement, and will work closely with senior stakeholders including CIO and CRO

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages used for actuarial work.
• Experience with data analysis and automation is advantageous.
• FIA or near-qualification with actuarial focus is expected.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys acting as a change agent within a team. You will identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance actuarial analysis, documentation, validation and reporting. You will seek out opportunities to improve actuarial modelling through automation and process improvement.

This role will offer exposure to:

• High quality, small team with mentoring from top class professionals
• US and Bermudian experience: US GAAP, US Statutory, Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) solvency regime
• Exposure to a range of highly interesting asset classes
• Works closely with both the CIO and CRO functions

Programming experience in languages such as Python, R, SQL, VBA and experience of Power BI, Power Automate, Git or cloud-based technologies is highly valued.

You will be a student or nearly-newly qualified FIA. Other technical qualifications would be considered.
