Vanrath in Belfast is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to join a global technology business. The role blends hands-on QA, automation development and API validation within an Agile engineering team and a modern, hybrid Belfast workplace.

You will design test strategies, create automated tests for UI and APIs, support CI/CD, and help advance non-functional testing and AI-assisted testing capabilities while collaborating with developers, analysts and product owners.

Formación

• Hands-on UI automation with modern frameworks.
• REST API testing and validation understanding.
• Experience with Jira/Zephyr for test management.
• CI/CD familiarity and automation integration.

Responsabilidades

• Translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Create and maintain automated tests for UI and APIs.
• Perform manual, exploratory, functional and regression tests.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs and product owners to identify risks.
• Support BDD and TDD practices to improve quality.
• Investigate defects and drive them to resolution.
• Integrate automated checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Analyze results and report testing progress.
• Contribute to non-functional and performance testing.
• Review processes to increase automation and reduce repetitive testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test scripting and documentation.
