Job summary

Man Group is seeking a Python Data Engineer to join the Enterprise Engineering Data Platform team in London. The role focuses on extending and supporting data systems, with exposure to greenfield projects and cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Risk, and Finance.

The candidate will work with SQL Server, .NET services, and modern BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, with a mix of on-premises and cloud data technologies. Strong Python and SQL skills required.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience as a SQL Server/Python/ETL Developer, in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical skills and passion for technology and data.
• Ability to break down complex requirements and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience with data modelling and dimensional modelling.

Responsibilities

• Extend and support the Enterprise Engineering Data Platform.
• Involvement with greenfield data-centric projects aligned to the long-term vision.
• Work with MS SQL Server and .NET services in a collaborative team.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Finance and other business streams.
