Job summary

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Aston University and Genie UK Limited invites a motivated researcher to lead the development of an AI-driven predictive and prescriptive maintenance system for Genie’s LiftConnect platform. You will work on connected, partially connected and non-connected machines, turning telematics and sensor data into actionable maintenance intelligence.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI, ML, CS, data science or related field.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI and cloud analytics environments.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and AWS SageMaker.
• Ability to lead a technically complex project and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop intelligent data-quality agents.
• Build predictive models transferable across machine families.
• Create prescriptive decision support and operational dashboards.
• Ensure delivery of methodologies, documentation, training and workshops.
