Job summary

Honest is seeking a Product Engineer to drive customer features and platform iteration. You will collaborate on mobile app development, dashboards, APIs and MCP services, extending networking and cloud infrastructure as part of a fast-paced team.

You’ll direct AI as the execution partner, write clear specs for automation, and ensure reliability through observability and incident response. Hybrid UK role with strong emphasis on developer experience and impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on platform infrastructure and feature development, defining scope and timelines.
• Talk to internal customers to understand needs before solutions.
• Write precise specifications for AI execution and verify outputs against intent.
• Direct AI to build, test, iterate and review results.
• Iterate on cloud infrastructure-as-code while ensuring security and efficiency.
• Assist with networking and infra troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for reliable delivery.
• Set up alerting, observability and incident response processes.
• Support data infrastructure and pipelines for reliability and availability.
• Identify recurring operational burden and decide what to automate.
• After shipping, verify outcomes and communicate results to stakeholders.
