Job summary

Google LLC's Procurement Organization seeks a senior Category Manager to lead regional indirect spend strategies and partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to drive AI-enabled transformations.

As part of the Category Management team, you will shape procurement strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliant, efficient sourcing across Europe, delivering value and scale for Google's global business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business-related field.
• 10 years of experience in marketing partnerships, sourcing, or category management across global marketing ecosystems.
• Experience leading spend categories using financial analysis and AI to optimize commercial, procurement, or governance models.
• Experience designing multi-year AI transformation roadmaps and partnering with VPs to drive change across decentralized environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic regional business partner to the marketing executive team in the region, aligning procurement priorities with goals and regional growth vectors.
• Advocate for an AI-first mentality in transforming procurement, replacing fragmented manual processes with AI-enabled workflows.
• Oversee local alignment and execution of global procurement strategies, translating GPO frameworks into regional actions.
• Serve as the regional strategy leader, directing high-volume purchasing, regional sourcing operations, and compliance across European country groups.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with organizational objectives for assigned indirect spend categories.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field
