Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a forecasting specialist to join the planning team of the International Consumer Bank Business.

You will analyze data and build short- and long-term forecasts across UK and international markets, driving service level optimisation and performance through accurate projections. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Machine Learning to incorporate data points feeding future volumes, and use AI to enhance insights while supporting senior leadership on

Qualifications

• Forecasting experience is essential.
• Knowledge of cross-functional planning practices.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong business analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Use of generative Artificial Intelligence in leveraging data insights.
• Proven experience leading or supporting project initiatives.
• Microsoft Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to partner and work collaboratively with others.
• Demonstrated ability to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause and trend analysis using historical data to identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Produce accurate volume projections from long-term planning to interval-level scheduling.
• Partner with functions like Marketing, Product, Strategy, and ML to feed data points into future volumes and performance.
• Leverage AI to enhance analytical insights.
• Support project workstreams with guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Demonstrate leadership and process improvement capabilities.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
