Job summary

Apple is seeking an engineer who builds with AI-enabled coding assistants to craft elegant, scalable software. You will own features end-to-end, spanning frontend interfaces in React and backend services in Java, with a focus on correctness under concurrency and robust API contracts.

You will drive testing, design reviews, and production releases, while refining architecture and adopting frontier AI models to accelerate the entire software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience using agentic AI coding assistants (Claude Code or equivalent) to engineer LLM context and build reusable agents.
• Strong software architecture, REST contracts, and failure-mode reasoning.
• Proven in designing and building automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Front-end experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js tooling.
• Back-end service development in Java with REST APIs implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve software products and services across full stack for production readiness.
• Own features from design through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Design scalable services with correct concurrency and optimistic update handling.
• Lead testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated reviews for releases.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in production releases and reliability improvements.
