Job summary
PwC UK is seeking a finance process improvement specialist to drive efficiency and effectiveness across client finance operations. You will lead engagements, review processes, and partner with PwC and client teams to deliver practical, technology-enabled improvements.
You will work across PwC and client sites, guiding automation and AI-enabled finance initiatives, and developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders in a private sector context.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience delivering finance process improvement or change initiatives.
- Ability to lead projects, teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Translate finance challenges into practical, technology-enabled solutions.
- Strong interest in technology, automation and AI for finance.
- Experience with finance systems, automation, process mining and data analytics.
- In-house or consulting experience in a private sector context.
Responsibilities
- Lead finance process improvement, operational efficiency and change delivery engagements.
- Manage client relationships and act as trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
- Review finance processes, identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI and tech-enabled efficiencies.
- Lead project teams across PwC and client sites with high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with technology specialists and cross-functional teams.
- Support delivery of finance technology, automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to proposals, client development and growth of the Reporting Optimisation team.
