Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Digital Manager to lead AI-enabled digital capabilities and shape the roadmap for customer and adviser experiences. You will manage cross-functional squads, balance delivery with risk, and deliver data-driven improvements across Digital, Technology, Operations and Risk.

In this role you will use insights and market intelligence to identify opportunities, drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory and architectural standards are met, while fostering collaboration

Qualifications

• AI experience required.
• Proven experience leading digital products, customer journeys or platforms with accountability for outcomes, roadmaps and priorities.
• Experience working in an Agile team, including backlog management and cross-functional squads.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to align business and tech teams.
• Experience using data, analytics and customer insight to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our channel-facing AI services, defining the roadmap and priorities to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Lead agile cross-functional squads, balancing delivery pace with risk and control requirements.
• Use insights, analytics and market intelligence to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Digital, Operations, Proposition, Marketing and Risk to deliver joined-up experiences.
• Monitor impact, ensure benefits are realized and outcomes tracked.
• Manage risks and governance to meet regulatory, security and architectural standards.
• Coach and influence colleagues to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
