MERJE in Belfast is hiring a Legal Analyst / Contract Analyst to join a growing contracts team. The role focuses on reviewing and processing standard agreements, NDAs, and using AI-powered review tools. Training will be provided and no qualified solicitor status is required.

This hybrid role requires attention to detail, good written communication, and comfort with reading legal documents. You will work three days per month in the office, with clear SLAs and opportunities to develop within legal

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business, Economics, Politics, English or similar.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Comfortable reading and analysing documents.
• Able to follow established processes consistently.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Confident using technology and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and negotiating standard NDAs.
• Applying approved contractual playbooks and guidance.
• Supporting contract administration and contract management activities.
• Using AI-enabled tools to analyse contractual documentation.
• Identifying and escalating non-standard issues.
• Maintaining accurate contract records.
• Working within agreed service levels and turnaround times.
• Managing a high volume of contract reviews accurately and efficiently.
