Job summary

Hexaware Technologies in London seeks a seasoned Java Engineering Architect to define the architecture and drive delivery of next-generation Banking and Payment platforms. You will lead backend engineering teams, shape integration patterns, and push AI-powered development across the SDLC.

The role requires deep expertise in payment engines, enterprise messaging, and cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and Docker to ensure high Availability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Principal Engineering roles.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Banking and Payment solutions.
• TOGAF, Kubernetes, Cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect high-volume, mission-critical payment processing platforms.
• Payments & Banking Domain focus and orchestration.
• Lead enterprise messaging hubs and event-driven ecosystems.
• Champion AI-powered engineering practices across the SDLC.
• Lead globally distributed teams and define engineering roadmaps.
• Drive adoption of AI-first engineering frameworks.
