Job summary

bp is seeking a Dev Ops Lead for Virtual Assistant and Automation to drive enterprise AI-enabled solutions. You will own architecture, governance, and end-to-end delivery, coordinating with engineering, product and data science teams across global partners.

Lead external vendors, champion automation across the AI lifecycle, and mentor a high-performing team. Role based in Sunbury with a future London move, hybrid work model and focus on secure, scalable production systems.

Qualifications

• Leadership in enterprise AI-enabled solutions in production.
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with LLMs, vector search and unstructured data pipelines.
• Experience leading SaaS / cloud-based HR or enterprise platforms.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
• Own service integrity, governance across AI platforms.
• Partner with external vendors to deliver scalable solutions globally.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and data science teams.
• Chair governance and risk sessions with partners and vendors.
• Mentor and build a high-performing, inclusive team.
