Job summary

Leeds Building Society is seeking an AI Delivery Manager to shape, prioritise and deliver AI use cases and AI-enabled products. You will collaborate with the AI Lead, engineers, and business owners, guiding initiatives from discovery through go-live and continuous improvement.

You will ensure governance, risk, and operational readiness are embedded, working in a hybrid setting with colleagues across engineering, data, information security and compliance.

Qualifications

• End-to-end delivery management of digital, data or AI initiatives in a complex transformation environment.
• Understanding of AI concepts, product lifecycles and governance principles.
• Ability to translate business problems into outcomes, user needs and delivery plans.

How you'll make a difference

You’ll help shape, prioritise and deliver AI use cases and AI-enabled products across the Society. This is an opportunity to play a key role in turning promising AI ideas into safe, well-governed and measurable solutions that create value for members, colleagues and the wider organisation.

Working closely with the AI Lead, AI Engineers, business owners and control functions, you’ll support AI initiatives from early discovery through pilot approval, controlled delivery, go-live and continuous improvement, ensuring solutions are aligned to business outcomes, responsible AI principles, governance requirements, risk appetite and operational readiness.

What will you bring to the role?

• End to end experience of delivery management of digital, data or AI initiatives in a complex transformation environment.
• Understanding of AI concepts, AI product lifecycles and responsible AI principles; deep hands‑on engineering experience is not required, although knowledge of CoPilot, Studio or Foundry would be an advantage.
• Ability to translate business problems into clear outcomes, user needs, product requirements and delivery plans.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, data, information security, risk, legal, compliance, change and business areas.
• Understanding of governance, risk management, data protection, UK GDPR, information security and operational controls in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills, including confidence working with senior stakeholders and non-technical colleagues.
