A leading company is seeking an enthusiastic AI Delivery Lead to drive AI pilot projects within their organization. The role requires a proactive individual who is excited about AI technology and has excellent project coordination skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to support the deployment of practical AI applications. This is a highly visible, hands-on position based in York, with opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
VetPartners is seeking an enthusiastic and organised AI Delivery Lead to help coordinate and accelerate our early AI pilot projects in line with our VetPartners culture and strategies. This is a hands-on, highly visible role ideal for someone who is passionate about the potential of AI and enjoys solving real-world problems with technology, even if they don't come from a formal project management background. You'll support the successful rollout of practical AI use cases (like clinical note-taking assistants), help track their performance, work closely with internal stakeholders, and act as a day-to-day link with external AI vendors.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the early stages of VetPartners' AI journey. You'll be supported by a collaborative AI Working Group and connected to teams across data, IT, operations, and clinical functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot Coordination: Help organise and track AI pilots-from initial scoping to launch and feedback-ensuring we stay on track with what's been agreed.
• Results Tracking: Work with our BI and data teams to help define what "success" looks like, then support the creation of simple dashboards or data summaries.
• Vendor Support: Be the main point of contact for AI suppliers-coordinating demos, compliance paperwork, and feedback.
• Communication & Change Support: Draft easy-to-understand guides, FAQs, and summary updates to help explain new AI tools.
• Governance Awareness: Support development and use of safe, responsible AI tools that comply with data privacy regulations.
• AI Market Scanning: Contribute to quarterly summaries of AI developments in the veterinary and healthcare sectors.

• Ethical & thoughtful: Understands importance of privacy, transparency and responsible AI.
Desirable Experience (not essential):
• Experience with data/tech projects (university, work or self-initiated).
• Familiarity with Azure, Power BI, SQL or ChatGPT.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum basics.
• Awareness of GDPR or healthcare data considerations
The role will be based from our York Cenrtral Support Office and require at least 60% in-office time.
