Job summary

Standard Life is seeking an AI Data Protection Specialist to support data protection in AI applications within the IT Risk, Data and AI Governance team. The role focuses on embedding data protection into AI use cases under the AI Governance Framework.

You will work with technology, legal, privacy and risk teams to provide expert advice, challenge risks, and implement proportionate controls enabling innovation while meeting regulatory and ethical expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI governance or risk in regulated environments such as technology risk, data governance, model risk or information security.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data protection considerations for AI use cases and DPIAs.
• Support AI governance reviews and governance forums with clear recommendations.
• Maintain data protection governance artefacts, registers and guidance aligned to AI activity.
