Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking an Internal Auditor in London to join an established audit function. You will lead business and technology audits while helping the team expand its use of data and emerging technologies.

You'll work with colleagues focusing on audit transformation to apply GenAI, data analytics, and automation across planning, testing, and reporting, leveraging SQL and Power BI where appropriate. Hybrid model, three days in the London office.

Qualifications

• Internal audit experience within financial services.
• Experience leading audits from planning to reporting.
• Exposure to GenAI, data analytics or audit tech is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of business and technology-related audits.
• Help develop use of data and emerging technologies within the team.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and Data Analytics throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Oversee audits from planning through to reporting.
