Job summary

BSI Knowledge Solutions’ Digital Sector team is seeking a Sector Associate to support AI and cyber security work through research, analysis and programme coordination. You will liaise with industry, government and academia, monitor developments, and translate complex topics into clear insights.

This is a full-time role based in Covent Garden with remote work options and a strong focus on stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in AI, cyber security, data science, computer science, engineering, digital technologies or related field
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to produce clear briefings and recommendations
• Excellent organisation with ability to manage multiple tasks, records and follow-ups
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders
• Collaborative and proactive approach, reliable and responsive across teams
• Interest in AI, cyber security, digital standards and emerging tech; willingness to learn
• Knowledge of AI/cyber security landscape and policy developments
• Experience supporting stakeholder engagement, workshops, projects or programmes in academic or research settings

Responsibilities

• Support the Sector Lead in delivering AI and Cyber Security activities through research, briefing preparation and coordination
• Monitor AI, cyber security and digital tech developments and provide clear insights and recommendations
• Gather and analyse evidence on market trends, policy developments, standards needs and innovation priorities
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across industry, government, regulators and academia
• Coordinate events, workshops and forums with materials and follow-up actions
• Contribute to business cases, proposals and internal papers by researching and drafting content
• Support project and programme delivery through meeting coordination and action tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sector insights and communications
