Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a leader in AI and Creative Technology (CreaTech) to drive strategy and embedding across education, research and knowledge exchange. The role demands guidance across AI software development, human-AI interaction, and design, with a track record of leading projects and strategic planning.

You will coordinate across disciplines, support students and academics, and contribute to industry-standard AI and creative technology skills development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable leadership ability with AI and software development experience.
• Experience leading AI or CreaTech projects and setting strategic direction would be advantageous.
• Ability to teach and demonstrate to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction of the AI/Creative Technology specialism across education and research.
• Plan and manage work across disciplines, including matrix management of others.
• Support staff and students on diverse customer-facing specialist counters and areas.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills.
