Role Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking AI-assisted Content Writer to join the Marketing team at Oliver’s Travels. This is a strategic role that combines creativity, technical skill, and editorial precision to produce high-performing content using generative AI tools. Reporting to the Head of Content and SEO, you will help shape and scale our content strategy across the luxury villa holiday market, with hands-on exposure to international SEO and market expansion initiatives.

This role presents a timely opportunity to bring in the next generation of content talent, as we’ve just migrated onto a new CMS. We are seeking someone who understands the fundamentals of great storytelling and thrives in a digital landscape powered by AI. You will help modernise how we deliver content by creating smarter, faster, and more engaging copy that performs across web, CRM, social, campaigns, and more. Your ability to merge narrative craft with automation, efficiency, and strategic thinking will play a vital role in strengthening our brand and delivering meaningful results across the business.

This is not a remote role. The position follows a hybrid structure with three days a week in our office.

Key Responsibilities

·Leverage AI tools to create engaging, SEO-optimised landing pages that balance user experience with conversion goals.

·Help develop a modular content strategy that enables reuse across blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, and more.

·Produce original content and campaign copy aligned with seasonal and destination trends, guided by measurable KPIs.

·Support tactical and seasonal campaigns, from competitor research and ideation to copywriting and full page builds with supporting content.

·Oversee the full lifecycle of blog content, including ideation, writing, scheduling, publishing, and performance analysis.

·Maintain and update website content with accuracy and efficiency using the WordPress CMS.

·Ensure consistent tone and brand voice across all content, including web, blog, CRM, and other communications.

·Build and maintain an editorial playbook that integrates AI workflows with brand tone and compliance standards.

·Optimise content using AI-powered SEO tools, including keyword use, meta descriptions, and linking strategies.

·Streamline content creation, editing, and scheduling using AI platforms across digital channels.

·Work daily with tools like Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, and AI writing platforms such as ChatGPT or Claude, with experience in prompt creation and optimisation.

·Track and analyse content performance using traffic, engagement, and conversion data to guide improvements.

·Collaborate across marketing, product, and internal teams to ensure cohesive content execution.

·Proofread thoroughly to uphold editorial standards across all written materials.

·Stay informed on SEO trends, AI innovations, and luxury travel content to keep our strategy competitive.

·Support social content creation to drive engagement and conversions across platforms.

What You’ll Bring

·BA (Hons) in English Literature, Journalism, or a related field with a track record in narrative craft and attention to grammar, clarity, tone, and style.

·Proven experience in AI-generated content, especially within SEO-optimised writing with at least three years in a similar role.

·Strong critical thinking and detail orientation with the ability to identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, or bias in AI-generated content.

·Passionate about innovation, with a self-starting drive to explore, experiment, and implement more efficient, timely, and engaging ways of delivering copy and content.

·Experience with CMS platforms, preferably WordPress, and an integrated portfolio showcasing both written and visual content.

·A clear purpose in content creation with the ability to inform, inspire, and drive meaningful results.

·Good knowledge of SEO including on-page SEO techniques like optimising headings, meta descriptions, and internal links. Must also understand how users search, follow content trends, and how content is discovered online.

·Ability to convert research into impactful narratives that align creativity with business goals.

·A collaborative mindset, confidently owning work while valuing cross-team feedback.
