About The Opportunity

• Outlier seeks talented writers fluent in English to help train generative AI models.
• This remote, reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity offers flexible hours.

Your Contributions

• Reading English texts to rank AI-generated responses.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.

Desired Expertise

• Experience as a professional writer or editor.
• Enrolled in or completed a higher education degree in a writing-related discipline.
• Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, and good reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of texts.

Payment Details

• USD $15/hr for core project work in the US; up to £11/hr in the UK; up to $20 CAD/hr in Canada.
• Rates vary based on expertise, location, and project specifics.
• Higher rates may be offered for PhDs or specialized roles.
