Job Description

We are seeking aforward-thinking, strategic leaderto manage the lifecycle of internal and external content powering Informa’s enterprise AI assistant, Elysia, and the underlying AI platform supporting diverse use cases. This role is pivotal in ensuring our AI systems deliverrelevant, accurate, and authoritative information, supported by a high-quality, structured knowledge base.

Acting as a bridge between content owners and technical teams, you willdesign, curate, and maintaina controlled document management framework. This framework will seamlessly integrate withretrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, fine-tuned models, and commercial solutions. Your work will directly shape how employees and customers interact with AI and access Informa’s proprietary content and intellectual property.

  • Own the end-to-end content lifecyclefor AI-accessible documentation—from ingestion and curation to retirement.
  • Curate and optimise content, IP, and knowledgefor AI consumption, ensuring readiness for RAG systems and fine-tuned models (including chunking, tagging, and embedding).
  • Design and evolve metadata standardsto maximise discoverability by users, customers, and AI agents.
  • Establish and enforce governance processesfor document updates, version control, and alignment with evolving AI models.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) liaison, collaborating with business and technical teams to validate and refine AI-ready content.
  • Lead enablement and training initiativesfor content owners and SMEs, delivering guidance on metadata standards, document structuring, taxonomy design, and AI integration principles.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teamsto evaluate retrieval performance and continuously improve indexing strategies.
  • Develop standards and processesto ensure Informa’s knowledge assets are discoverable and accessible by AI models and external systems.
  • Define and maintain taxonomies and classification systemsfor structured, scalable knowledge management.
  • Conduct regular content quality auditsand gap analyses to ensure the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of referenced materials.
  • Champion standardised publishing frameworksthat balance control, security, and business usability.
  • Support pilot initiatives and enterprise-wide rolloutsof AI-integrated knowledge services.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience inknowledge management, digital content strategy, or information architecture.
  • Strong understanding ofmetadata, taxonomies, and structured content models.
  • Experience withdocument management platformssuch as SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellentstakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity withenterprise AI tools and concepts, including vector stores, embedding models, RAG frameworks, and fine-tuning.
  • Solid understanding ofprivacy-by-design principles, information security, and intellectual property protection.
  • Working knowledge ofLLMs and their information retrieval behaviours.
  • Exposure toPython, YAML, markdown, or content engineering tools.
  • Background inlibrary science, knowledge systems, or technical writing.
  • Experience contributing toenterprise AI governance or internal search architecture.
  • Certifications inKnowledge-Centered Support (KCS), ISO 30401, or similar.
