Ace Grading, in partnership with The University of Salford, is recruiting a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate to lead AI and computer vision initiatives over 36 months. The role sits at Banbury, UK, with regular travel to Salford for academic collaboration and project meetings.

You will develop automated grading workflows, defect detection, OCR, and metadata capture, embedding these solutions into live business processes while driving change and sharing knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• This role requires a 2.1 or higher in CS/DS/AI/ML and strong ML/vision skills.
• Experience with ML/DL frameworks and applying them to business challenges.
• Proficiency in Python and computer vision toolsets is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed AI/CV solutions within live grading operations.
• Design automated defect detection, OCR and metadata extraction systems.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document progress.
