Job summary

Aviva is seeking an AI Change & Run Governance Lead to drive the delivery of complex projects and change initiatives, ensuring outcomes on time, within budget and in line with governance standards.

You will provide expert guidance on project management best practice, manage stakeholder engagement, identify and mitigate risks, and coach colleagues to raise the organisation's project delivery capability. We support flexible working arrangements and value collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex projects or transformation programmes within a structured project management environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management, and change control processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, budgets, timelines, dependencies, risks, and reporting activities.
• Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with the ability to balance multiple priorities and drive successful outcomes.

Salary circa £70,000 subject to skills and experience

Bristol/ Eastleigh/ Manchester/ Norwich / York/ Birmingham/ Leeds/ Glasgow/ Sheffield/ Leatherhead

About the role

As a AI Change & Run Governance Lead, you will lead the successful delivery of complex projects and change initiatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and in line with organisational standards and governance requirements.

You will provide expert guidance on project management best practice, drive effective stakeholder engagement, identify and mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement across project delivery. You will also coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to the development of project management capability across the business.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex projects or transformation programmes within a structured project management environment.

• Salary: circa £70,000(depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
