Job summary

The Devonshire Group is seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to transform technology use across its estates and businesses. You will identify, design, develop and support automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency and access to information.

Working with the Solutions Delivery & Automation Lead, you will deliver production-ready solutions, explore new technologies and collaborate with stakeholders across the Group to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Experience designing, developing and supporting automation, integration or software solutions.
Strong technical problem-solving and ability to analyse complex processes.
Experience with automation platforms, scripting languages or software development tools.
Experience integrating systems through APIs, web services or connectors.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and support automation, integration and AI solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
Build and maintain workflows, apps, scripts and services with approved technologies.
Develop AI-powered capabilities (document processing, intelligent assistants, knowledge tools).
Create integrations between business systems, cloud services and third-party platforms using APIs/connectors.
Research emerging AI/automation tech and identify practical applications across the Group.
Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to demonstrate value.
Monitor and optimise solutions for security, reliability and performance.
Produce technical documentation and designs for stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT and business leaders to deliver outcomes.
Support ongoing development of AI, automation and digital innovation capabilities.
