Job summary

Vanrath is seeking an experienced Contract Gen AI Architect to join its Belfast-based AI & Data practice on a hybrid, 6-month engagement. You will design end-to-end Gen AI architectures and guide client roadmaps, working with data scientists, engineers and client teams.

In this role, you will lead discovery workshops, assess current systems and present architectures to senior stakeholders, mentoring junior colleagues and delivering value across energy, resources and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong Gen AI, AI or enterprise architecture experience, ideally in consulting.
• Knowledge of the energy, resources or industrials sector.
• Hands-on experience with several of the following: LLM integration and deployment, prompt engineering, RAG and vector databases, AI governance and ethics, ModelOps/MLOps, cloud infrastructure and security for AI.
• Experience with at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Confident with senior stakeholders and able to explain technical ideas in plain terms.
