Job summary

Ulster University in Belfast or Derry-Londonderry is seeking an AI Adoption Lead for the Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC). This full-time, fixed-term role runs until 31 August 2029 and will work with businesses to identify AI opportunities, translate requirements into projects, and support rapid prototyping using AI tools.

The post requires strong partnership skills, experience with Generative AI, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Computing, IT, Innovation, Management or a closely related discipline.
• Experience of using Generative AI and AI assisted development tools (such as ChatGPT Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to develop prototypes, automate business processes, generate insights or support business transformation activities.
• Experience of working with organisations to identify, scope and support Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation or innovation projects that delivered tangible value to the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for responsible adoption of AI and translate requirements into defined AI projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business engagement and innovation activities.
• Support discovery activities, rapid prototyping and value delivery through AI initiatives.
