Boeing DefenceUnited Kingdom (BDUK) Ltd is recruiting an AH-64E Maintenance Test Pilot to support Post Phase Maintenance activities at Middle Wallop. Training will be provided; UK MoD collaboration is essential as you operate within the Boeing Test & Evaluation structure.

The role requires a valid Apache Type qualification and NATO brevet, with travel to the United States for initial MTP training as needed.

Qualifications

• Current or previous Certificate of Qualification on Type for the Apache (AH-64E experience desirable).
• Must have previously been awarded a military pilot’s flying brevet from a NATO country.
• Detailed technical knowledge of UK Apache Mk1 or Apache AH-64E.
• Able to pass a UK military aviation medical with no limitations.
• Identify safety issues and improve aviation safety.
• Diplomatic yet decisive in interface with MoD and Boeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct post Phase Maintenance ground runs or flight tests per Maintenance Test Flight Manual.
• Act as Pilot in Command or 1st Pilot on Boeing or mixed Authority crew.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to other MTPs where qualified.
• Identify risks and support mitigation plans for post maintenance flights.
• Provide SME input for selection, training, and sustainment of Flying Maintainer duties.
