Job Description:

We are seeking a Mobile Seed Plant Operator to join the AGS Mobile Seed Plant processing team at Eccleshall on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role involves driving to farms, processing farm-saved seed, checking seed quality, taking samples, and maintaining mobile machinery while ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and adherence to health and safety standards. You will also support the Frontier Crop Protection team with product delivery throughout the year.

About You

• Experience in agriculture, engineering, or grain handling is advantageous but full training will be provided, including PA1 & PA11 certifications
• Mechanic or Bodyshop experience is a plus

Your Role Will Involve

The responsibilities of a Mobile Seed Plant Operator include:

• Operating the mobile seed plant for cleaning and treating various products
• Servicing the mobile seed plant to meet standards
• Supervising support staff on customer premises
• Assisting the Site Manager with safety checks
• Organizing loading of chemicals and bags according to customer orders
• Delivering crop protection products during specified periods
