The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking an agricultural technology developer in London for a mid-level software developer role. You’ll join an established AgriTech team building sensor networks, data platforms and farmer dashboards.

Work with cross-functional teams, ship production-ready software, and contribute to testing, docs and feature rollout. This role offers hybrid London work, a clear engineering framework and real chance to grow into senior positions.

Formación

• A few years' commercial experience as a software developer, ideally with IoT/embedded systems or data-heavy platforms.
• Strong grounding in at least one modern language: Python, Java or C#.
• Experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure, and relational databases.
• Able to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in agriculture or sustainability is a plus.
• Good testing instincts to catch issues early.
• Willingness to grow into senior/lead roles as AgriTech scales.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain software for agricultural monitoring systems, from sensor data ingestion to dashboards.
• Collaborate with agronomists, data scientists, and hardware engineers to translate field requirements into code.
• Develop and test integrations between IoT devices and central platforms, ensuring timely data delivery.
• Write and review automated tests and mentor peers on code quality.
• Support rollout of new features to production with monitoring and issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation for wider project reuse.
