Askham Bryan College is seeking a permanent part-time agriculture practical instructor and tutor to deliver 14.8 hours per week across land-based engineering and agricultural sessions for 16-19 year olds. You will combine hands-on machinery, livestock and farm practice with classroom theory and pastoral support for a designated learner group.

• Deliver practical land-based engineering and agricultural sessions covering machinery operation, maintenance and servicing, livestock and general farm practice
• Give dedicated support to Level 2 Land Based Engineering learners, building the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for work, apprenticeships or further study
• Help learners work safely, confidently and professionally
• Contribute to classroom-based theory teaching in own area of expertise
• Provide academic and pastoral support to a designated group of learners
• Monitor learner progress, promote achievement and support development throughout their programme
