Job description

Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for an Agriculture Lecturer - Land Based to join our team at Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) on a Fixed Term Contract expiring in July 2026, working on a full-time basis.

Agriculture Lecturer - Land Based

The Agriculture Lecturer - Land-Based role at BCA is full-time and fixed term, ending in July 2026. Reporting to the Head of Department Horticulture, Agriculture, and Equine, the primary purpose of this role is to teach and contribute to the development and support of various agriculture programs, including Land-based T Levels.

Note: To be considered for this role, please explain in your Personal Statement your Livestock experience and skillsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching a variety of programs within the department.
  2. Acting as a personal tutor.
  3. Leading course management for specific programs.
  4. Involved in curriculum development, particularly in developing and implementing Land-based T-Level programs.
  5. Supporting students with educational needs.
  6. Contributing to the marketing and recruitment of programs.
  7. Developing external contacts and promoting industry-based work.
  8. Overseeing the coordination and administration of certain programs.
  9. Maintaining and enhancing quality standards across all programs.
