Gammies Groundcare Forfar (Part of A. M. Phillip) is recruiting an Agricultural Welder and Fabricator to join our workshop. You will fabricate parts, weld, repair, and modify agricultural and ground care equipment, with your own blacksmithing station and involvement in all fabrication stages.

We offer a pension, discount, on-site parking, life insurance, and competitive pay based on experience. Start date is immediate; hours are Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Confident working on a variety of machinery and tasks.
• Experience working in a workshop and familiar with health and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Weld and fabricate components for agricultural and ground care equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out repairs and modifications as required.
• Work in the workshop following health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Gammies Groundcare Forfar (Part of A. M. Phillip) is recruiting for an Agricultural Welder & Fabricator.

Location: Gammies Groundcare Ltd, Station Yard, Carseview Road, Forfar, Angus, DD8 3BT

Start date: Immediate Start Available

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, alternate Saturdays 8:00 am - 12.00 pm

Pay: From £37,500 per annum DOE

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to join our workshop, working on a range of projects. From fabricating parts, welding, repairs and modifications to agricultural and ground care equipment and custom builds, you will have your own blacksmithing station and be involved in all aspects of fabrication.

Essential Experience/Skills

• Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Confident working on a variety of machinery and tasks
• Experience working in a workshop and familiar with health and safety compliance
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred But Not Essential

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with repair/welding/fabrication of agricultural and ground care machinery
