Job summary

NFU Mutual seeks an experienced Agricultural Vehicle Underwriter on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves shaping underwriting strategy for the agricultural vehicle product, developing guidance and translating appetite into actionable rules and processes.

You will work with Pricing, Propositions, Sales, Agency, Claims and other teams to ensure consistency, customer focus and commercial effectiveness, in a hybrid work setup with 20% office presence across UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agricultural Vehicle underwriting is essential.
• Account management skills with analytical mindset and ability to translate data into insight.
• Confident communicator with ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong report writing skills and ability to interpret complex information for varied audiences.
• Experience contributing to or delivering projects in fast-moving, strategy-focused environments is desirable.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Pricing, Propositions, Sales, Agency, Claims and wider business functions, influencing decision making and ensuring our underwriting practices remain consistent, customer focused, and commercially effective.
