Job summary

Hunt Forest Group in Dorchester, Dorset, is seeking a proactive Service Technician for our Agricultural department. You will diagnose and repair machinery, primarily John Deere, and provide accurate quotes while performing field work as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, own tools, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Competitive salary, company vehicle, and opportunities for progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence held.
• Own tools for completing service tasks.
• Proficient with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, or related machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair agricultural/turf machinery from multiple manufacturers, mainly John Deere.
• Diagnose issues and provide accurate repair quotes.
• Complete all required paperwork for assignments.
• Perform field diagnostics and repairs when needed.
• Conduct pre-delivery setup on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and proper tool use.
• Participate in service training and certification programs.
• Follow safety rules and regulations during work.
• Take on additional tasks as required.
