Job summary

TipTopJob in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards. You will diagnose faults and provide on-site and field support for customers across the local region.

The role offers overtime, a company service van, training and real long-term career progression within a well-established farming equipment specialist.

Qualifications

• Experience working on agricultural, plant or commercial vehicle equipment.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Land Based Engineering qualification or relevant apprenticeship.
• Experience using diagnostic software and modern machinery systems.
• Understanding of GPS, telematics and machine control technology.
• Welding and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and powertrain faults.
• Complete service reports, documentation and job records accurately.
• Provide professional support to customers both on-site and in the field.

Role Overview
