Job summary

Hunter Selection | B Corp™ is seeking an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards. The role covers field-based sites across the local region with a dedicated service van and equipment.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults, complete service reports, and provide professional support to customers on-site and in the field.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on agricultural, plant or commercial vehicle equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and powertrain faults.
  • Complete service reports, documentation and job records accurately.
  • Provide professional support to customers on-site and in the field.

Role Overview
  • Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience working on agricultural, plant or commercial vehicle equipment
  • Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service
Desirable Experience
  • Land Based Engineering qualification or relevant apprenticeship
  • Experience using diagnostic software and modern machinery systems
  • Understanding of GPS, telematics and machine control technology
  • Welding and fabrication experience
Work Location
  • Field-based role covering customer sites across the local region
  • Dedicated service van, laptop, mobile phone and tablet provided
  • Mix of planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown support
  • Occasional travel for manufacturer training and development
