Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual?

We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our busy store based in Chelford.

Chelford Farm Supplies is a successful family owned business established over 40 years ago, based in the heart of Cheshire. The company is one of the regions largest suppliers of farming supplies, agricultural products, gardening tools and machinery, animal feed, equestrian products, country clothing and footwear, along with an international online presence.

This role would suit somebody with experience in sales and agricultural that is looking for a varied role promoting one of Cheshire's largest suppliers of Agricultural Products, including; Animal Health, Fencing & Hardware.

THE ROLE

• Work alongside a team of internal and external sales advisors

• Build and maintain relationships with key account customers and suppliers

• Ensure sales enquiries, quotes and pricing requests are responded to by email and phone in a timely, accurate and professional manner

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, products and competitors

• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry laws and regulations, including health and safety and environmental regulations

• Work closely with the marketing team to promote products and grow category area

• 5 Day Working week

• 8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

• 8.30am - 4pm Alternate Saturdays + day off in the week

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• AMTRA qualification desired, but not essential

• Min 2 years experience in retail sales, preferably in the agricultural sector

• Good knowledge of the farming sector and/or come from a farming background

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership skills

• Self motivated, results driven and customer focused

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Degree in Agriculture or related field

• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, such as animal welfare and environmental regulations

• Resilient, adaptable and able to work well under pressure

• Full, clean driving licence.

• Sales background.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proactive.

• Conscientious.

• Has a resilient nature and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
