The Role:

The firm is seeking a Property Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE who is either experienced in or keen to specialise in agricultural property. You’ll advise a diverse range of clients including farmers, landowners, estates, developers and rural businesses.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an expert team on complex and rewarding matters affecting the rural sector.

Your Work Will Include:

  • Buying and selling agricultural land and estates
  • Tenancy and succession issues
  • Partnerships and rural business structures
  • Telecoms leases and land agreements
  • Easements and wayleaves
  • Planning and development on agricultural land
  • Grazing licences and stewardship scheme advice
  • Single Payment Scheme entitlements
  • Supporting clients with succession planning and restructuring

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial or agricultural property law
  • A genuine interest in rural affairs and land law
  • Strong client-facing skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
