Agricultural Planner – Diss – £44,000 DOE– Excellent Benefits
The Job:
A leading agricultural organisation is seeking an Agricultural Planner to oversee the production planning of Turkeys, Ducks, and Geese. Key responsibilities include planning bird placement, transfers, and long-term slaughter schedules for all poultry, as well as coordinating egg sets and hatch profiles for ducks. The role also involves estimating and allocating feed requirements to ensure optimal growth and efficiency. Ensuring compliance with legislation, farm assurance standards, biosecurity measures, and customer requirements is essential, along with identifying and resolving any supply chain issues that may arise.
The Agricultural Planner will keep farm management informed of all planning schedules and changes while working closely with the supply planning team to meet bird specifications. The role also involves collating quarterly and annual data for reporting, as well as analysing historical performance data to improve forecasting accuracy. Additionally, the planner will support farm administration and technical tasks as required, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the poultry production process.

The Package:
- Salary: £37,000 - £44,000 per annum DOE
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30am – 17:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Flexibility required during peak times

Although based at the Redgrave site, occasional travel to other sites may be required for meetings and team events.
