Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is helping a dealership in Halesworth recruit an Agricultural Engineer. You will service, maintain and repair farm machinery, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience as Agricultural Engineer or related roles with farm machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• As an Agricultural Engineer, you'll help keep agricultural machinery operating efficiently through a range of maintenance and repair work.
• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Use diagnostic laptops and technical systems to identify issues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Develop your skills through ongoing training.

What we're looking for

• Experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Mechanic, Farm Machinery Engineer, Agricultural Technician or Plant Engineer.
• A relevant qualification in Land-Based Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work overtime during busy periods.
