An opportunity has arisen at our Stranraer Machinery Depot for an experienced and talented Agricultural Machinery Service Technician.

ABOUT US

THE JOB

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing key daily processes and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Providing excellent service to customers.
  • Preparing and inspecting machinery for delivery.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Proposing repairs and executing cost-effective solutions.
  • Repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining machinery from leading brands.
  • Offering technical guidance across the business.
  • Providing out-of-hours support when needed.
  • Working in the workshop or field as required.
  • Maintaining standards and a clean, efficient environment.
  • Collaborating with machinery departments to meet quality and deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Team players with initiative and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Recognized apprenticeship and certified qualifications in machinery servicing.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and in workshops.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Adaptability to changing demands.
  • Proficient in diagnostic software and IT skills.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends during busy seasons.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines independently and in teams.
  • Full UK Driving License.
